HOW TO MAKE COCOA BUTTER FOR YOUR BODY

COCOA BUTTER FOR YOUR BODY,
BE NATURAL & SMELL DELICIOUS!

What I used was 1 pound of organic raw cocoa butter, organic extra virgin olive oil (evoo), organic rose hip oil, and organic coconut oil. First off, I could not resist the overwhelming fragrance of chocolate coming from the cocoa butter that the temptation of not tasting it was out of question (I'm not the only one is the household who did this) and my reaction was that the smell is far more sweeter than the taste. The flavor is bland which is one great thing about organic raw cocoa butter. You can use it as a base to make chocolate candy bars. This is my first time experimenting with it though so I decided to just make the body butter first. The whole process takes about 12 hours depending on when you start it. I started it at night and since you have to use the freezer to harden up the cocoa butter I just left it in there over night. By the morning I had a soft cocoa butter ready to use.

Start off with the raw cocoa butter chunks in a saucepan over low heat. Gently stirring.

This is what the cocoa butter chunks will look like while melting. Stir often until chunks are completely melted.

Add in 1 cup organic coconut oil, 1/2 cup organic evoo, & 1 tablespoon or more of your favorite essential oil. In this butter I used organic rose hip.

Once all the oils are combined with the cocoa butter put in freezer safe container and freeze overnight. The next morning you will have a solid cocoa butter.
